My name is Tim
Price, head girls basketball coach at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Midwest
City is about 10 miles east of downtown Oklahoma City.
We have one of the
top 2 or 3 facilities in the entire state. Our gym is only
about 7 years old and holds 3,500 people. Each year, the small school
state tournaments always use our gym for the first round of the state
tournament because of it's location and ability to hold large crowds.
Our TITAN CLASSIC
tournament will be held January 21-23, 2010. Our boys bracket
is filled, but our girls bracket needs one team to fill because of a
team backing out at the last minute.
This season's
tournament will feature the defending class 6A state champion, the 6A
state runner up, the 5A state runner up, and a 3A state
qualifier. The 6A state champion has come out of our
tournament the last two years. It's a very tough tournament
that gets a ton of media attention. That particular weekend, it
is THE PREMIER high school tournament in the state of Oklahoma.
We feature an
incredible hospitality room, 20 t-shirts for each team, and coaches
gifts for the head coach.
